Jabco knuckleboom cranes: service, repair and parts

Keeping Jabco knuckle boom cranes working: hydraulic and cylinder repair, radio remotes, controls and wear parts, at our shop in Orlando, Florida.

Robert's Diesel Works is an independent crane shop in Orlando, Florida. We are not a Jabco dealer and we do not sell new Jabco cranes. We service, repair and find parts for the Jabco knuckleboom cranes already out there working.

What comes in most

  • Hydraulic leaks and slow booms: cylinders resealed or rebuilt, hoses, valves and pumps
  • Radio remote faults: the transmitter, the receiver, the harness or the valve bank,

diagnosed properly instead of by replacing parts

  • Boom wear: wear pads, pins and bushings
  • Controls: levers, switches and electrical faults
  • Structural cracks around the base, the outriggers and the sub-frame

A crane fault is often a truck fault

Low engine speed, a failing PTO or a soft frame all show up as a crane that will not do what it used to. We work on the truck as well as the crane, so the diagnosis does not stop at the sub-frame.

Getting it looked at

Call and describe what the crane is doing. Bring the model and the serial number if you have them, and a photograph if the fault is visible. Most of the time we can tell you on the phone whether it is a part, a rebuild or a bigger conversation.

Parts only?

If you just need the part, see Jabco crane parts. We source new and used parts by model and serial number and ship worldwide.
